Flow pressure
Flow resistance of a lubricant towards a standardized nozzle at low temperatures
- Describes the lower application temperature and the suitability of the lubricant central lubricating systems at low temperatures
- Unit hPa or mbar (e.g. < 1400 hPa)
- Only for greases and pastes
- Determined acc. to DIN 51805 (Kesternich)
- The temperature at which the flow pressure in max. 1400 mbar is defined as the lower application temperature acc. to DIN 51 825.
